Picked up a bullet the other day in an antique centre, is 7.65mm dia. at base x 32.51mm long, has two annular grooves, the first approx 5.1mm from the base, the 2nd 5.1mm from the first groove. Is of Spitzer profile, with a lead core (unmarked) and Nickel outer. It has been shot from a rifle barrel with 4 grooves, The base depression had dried mud in it, possibly a battlefield find? Any suggestions? Am unable to post images.

Many thanks,

Mike.
