Hi, I would be grateful for some help to id the .303 round. It appears to have a length of lead protruding from the rear of it. A typical example is shown next to it.
It is the lead core that has spewed out of the bullet and cooled again rapidly. Seen a few like this from planes that have been firing at offshore targets.....
