You must have a case length error when you measured it?
This is a 25.4 x 95R case for the 1" Aiming Rifle electric primed, cordite Mk111, which has a 95mm case. All Marks are 95mm case length.

Case was a B C 1 (Mk1 cordite ) reloaded by R^L as a Mk111 cordite load (the B & 1 barred out).
