Recently, I searched for the topic of Type 23 grenade.
(The topic:http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/threads/49249-Japanese-pull-type-grenade)
Some people think this grenade is a Japanese weapon. But when I looked at the Japanese army data during World War II, the data didn't mention this grenade. I only found in Chinese book that this grenade is made in China.
The data from Chinese book:

Weight of body 410.5g
Weight of filling 39.5g

---------The title of book:《彈藥識别》(''Ammunition identification''),The Chinese military was issued in 1950.
---------
The grenade production Arsenal(The grenade marking''石井''):
Shijing Arsenal(石井兵工厰) located in Shijing Town, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. It was established in June 1874. After the outbreak of the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1937, Shijing Arsenal was relocated and merged into the 40th Arsenal in Guangxi. It was abolished in 1946.Shijing Arsenal's alias: Guangdong Arsenal, 41st Arsenal.

The grenade was actually made in China and captured by the Japanese in the Second Sino-Japanese War and plunged into the Pacific battlefield.
