This is a naval case ( crowned M at 12 o'clock ). It was quite widely in use before adopting for 88 Flak. I have a damaged 1931 dated naval case which came from Finnish 88 Flak ammo junk.
 
I would say it is as rare as German WW1 large naval cases in general. They pop up every now and then.
 
This one is more rare, since it has the steel 12na primer, so it's used during WW2, good find Miguel.
