Hello, a friend of mine has this shell fragment, he thought it could be from a Lange Max shell, but unless someone tells me otherwise, I don't believe it is, however, I couldn't ID the shell it comes from. I don't have very precise measurement, but the width of the driving band socket is 43mm and the width of the wall of the shell taken from the thread of the base fuze till the outer is 93mm. I have a feeling it's of German manufacture, could it be from from the dicke Bertha? Thank you in advance
