Picked up this Hungarian throwing practice grenade this week. Makes for a nice display pair with the M42, shown below with frag sleeve screwed on. The handle swivels with the metal "body". Anyone know why ?
The rotation just because the production, this isn't function.
The ideal would be if the head and the stick are doesn't rotate.
A bit correction: they are 48M (M48) pieces.
The TP is from late 70's - early 80's. The another (live or practice) is from 50's, if I'm right.
thanx spotter. Yea, that site ( from Lex's link) was basically where I got the info in post. It could've been flawed as my Hungarian is not exactly my 2nd language. But, this page as well as Lex refers to this as 42 rather than 48. I could be missing something but not sure what it is. Thanks to both responders & look forward to hearing more!
