Hi friends, this grenade was on a news site, after an attempted attack in Grozni Chechneya.
The VZRG fuse mechanism is regular but the grenade body is unrecognized.

Could this be an improvised ordanance -

It looks like a body of the 30m"m VOG17 for the AGS17 ??

Any ideas ??

The copper band at the bottom of the item would lead me in the direction of it being improvised. The exact projectile would be hard to determine with out having a few measurements.
