ICI Box End.

A fellow collector gave me this 3 ply wooden end from some type of ICI box. Apparently there were 2 wooden ends and the rest was cardboard?
They were burnt by the owner and some ends saved by my friend .
I wonder if other collectors can ID the contents or meaning of the 2 blue stripes. It could be Australian or UK made?

Size is 423mm x 310 x 5.5mm. (16 5/8" x 12 1/4 x 1/4" for the UK members.

Hi Ron, no idea about the stripes I'm sorry to say. The metal bits look like a kind of commercial package. Perhaps the entire thing contained 4 reels of 150 m (approx 500 ft) det cord.
