total lenght: 13cm, I suppose repainted, no markings visible on the side, markings on the base E20048?
Can someone give me the exact name of this shell, time-frame, original colour(s), casetype?

Thanks!2PrAPT (1).JPG2PrAPT (3).jpg

This is a British 2Pr Tank/Anti-tank projectile AP-T. Paint is correct. Markings are usually on the side but often light stamps and get covered when painted.
There were possibly 8 different marks of APT projectile plus Practice APT. The differences were in the base plugs and tracer cavities so not sure what your example is.
WW2 period of use- my earliest No2 Mk1 case (marked 1X Gun) is dated 1937. My latest is 1943 dated. Possibly made till 1945? Case dimension is 40x304R).
