The German Technical Association of Manufacturers of Standardized Molded and Compression Molded Materials introduced in 1924 an industry standard for Bakelite (https://www.plugsocketmuseum.nl/MPADmarks.html). I would never have discovered that the mark has an M, a P, an A and a D. Great
