ID Needed for Long Projectile

Hello, does anyone know anything about this projectile that is currently for sale in NZ ? Judging from the photos it is about 23cm (9 inches) long X about 5.5cm (2.2 inches) wide, and possibly has a detachable nose. Any ideas ? Cheers.

Could it be from a 6Pr Drill round as the drive band seems very flattened and the nose looks a bit odd?
I do not have any 6Pr Drill rounds and have not seen this projectile type/shape before.
