Hello, does anyone know this? I don´t know if this is a projectile, but it's width is about 80 mm + in diameter and 31 mm + in length.

Looks like a rocket warhead, the 2.75-inch.

What US-Subs stated. Could be a practice warhead and fuse, but it could be an HE Warhead with an early Point Detonating Fuze, though I can't find the nomenclature at the moment. Cheers, Bruce.

IMG_0602..jpgIt appears to be a 2.75in MK 1 rocket warhead, practice or high explosive both warheads are the same length and diameter. The fuzes used on the HE warhead are the same shape and length of the inert training ones making ID of a High explosive one difficult . Markings on the live fuzes were painted on not metal stamped. The picture is of a HE Mk 1 warhead with fuze Rocket PD Mk 178
