Hi Ozzi,To my untrained eye it looks to be a cobble, the diameter of the warhead is larger than the tail fins, somehow it does not look "right",
Cheers,
Don,
G-Day beihan,
You may well be right, the tail fins look like off 81mm mortar.
I will know more when it arrives (too late Ive bought it!).
I will post more when I have it in my hot little hands.
Regards Ozzi.
It is 90mm in Dia. the fins have a leading edge & the projectile body has what looks like rifling marks both indicating that the item was spin stabilised.
Not a bit of stampings or painted info on the "thing". Nose section before the rifling seems to be thin steel but the base of the projectile is heavy (solid).
Thanks, but doubt it as it is heavy (3.5kg) & long (around 450-500mm). It also looks like it has been fired from something rifled as it has rifling marks on the raised edge of the body.
