ID this AP core please.

I thought this was the core from a .50 Browning,but it appears to be bigger,it measures, .430 dia., 1.855 long, weight is 330 grains and is steel,any help appreciated.

It is the proper shape and looks like a .50 cal AP core.

Yes agree it is a .50 Cal Armour Piercing core.
The Ball and AP share the same profile !

This may be of some intrest,a .50" AP core we seem to be using now,from the CBC contract ammunition.

Sorry about the horrid photo,macro and flash don't seem to work well together! can post better ones if wanted during daylight.
