ID WW1 British bomb

The story says it's a anti zeppelin bomb used by Warneford in Belgium (?)
Does anyone know the nomenclature and operation of this device ?

It's interesting - the tail is a Hales Bomb tail, but the body is quite unique. Being used in Belgium means that this can be one of the creations of Cesar Bataille
