HONOURED MEMBER RIP
Found this unmarked case and have no idea what it is, can anyone help?

It may be cut-down I really have no idea.

The measurements are as follows......

diameter of base = approx 150mm

height = 112mm

diameter across top = approx 139mm

caliber at top of case = 134mm (5.25")

There appears to be a plug in the place of a primer?

Probably been messed with, but you never know - any help appreciated

regards Kev

It looks alot like a WW1 German 150x113mm rimmed casing. Are you sure its 112mm? Maybe its some kind of dummy round or loading practice? If not ive got no idea.

I may be a mm out but the measurement at the top is only 139mm max so not a 150mm cartridge.

I wasnt sure if it was an 'unfinished' case with lack of markings. I'm afraid I know little about these.

thanks for your input, appreciated

regards Kev
