Helle everyone,

I came accross a piece in a collection of a friend that finally "sort-of" identified a piece I have. It's a weapons component, that I am now sure of.
Twist and lock mechanism with firingpin and rollers in the main body.

Does anyone know for what gun, launcher or system this is for?

It's a striker case for a 6 pdr or a 75mm OQF. It is the firing mechanism that fits into the breech block.

Thanks very much Tankbarrel and Quatermass,
now I finally know what it is.
Saving that part for 12years finally reached identification.
