Any help identifying this round would be greatly appreciated. the projectile is stamped myx 184 44, and the casing stamp 324 44 am

Yep as Siegfreid says German WWII AP 13mm
If you want an HE one I think I might have one spare?
 
It is a German 13x64B for the MG131 aircraft gun. The projectile is AP-T, API or TP-T.
