I had another one of these, and traded it off for 2 grenades. I had been kicking myself in the ass ever since. It is often mistaken for a medic helmet, but that is the insignia of the WW1 Illinois 33rd national guard division. Anyway the wife and I have a space in the local antique mall and this was in someones stall today, labeled as a medic helmet, so I snagged her up. I'll not say what I paid for it but suffice it to say it was a steal! After all it is my home state...Dano
