Hi All.
Anyone know what this little waxed cylinder is out of?
It measures 45 mm diameter by 25 mm high.
Cheers, Paul.

Exploder Pellet

It may be an "exploder" pellet from an artillery shell, placed in between the Fuze and main charge, although I have only seen ones that come in alloy containers and not loose and unwrapped like yours.

.

That is a transfer us load for aerial bombs. See picture: Built in 2 a teiligen socket for 4000 LB an aerial mine. Harry
