This is how I found them, the primers are fired, there is a supporting piece of wood inside the case, 4 holes in each case, projectiles each have two flats from grinding the jacket off on two sides of each - but not off the tip. Local made Drill rounds ? Three small punch indents to hold projectiles in, wich are quite firm.

yes they do look like proper .5 vickers drill rounds but I think you'll find the 'flats' on the projectiles are from 'accidental or deliberate' damage as it can be seen to continue into the neck of the case.
