Greetings to all...

I am seeking help with the headstamps of these four 65/17 mountain gun cases.
65x172R x76.
Especially the dates of manufacture. Assuming that the single digit over the 3 digits has something to do with dates...

Shown with a 65x167R x75 French Mle1906 mountain gun round for comparison.
Thanks very much.20210511_101103.jpg last photo came out of order.....

The 3-digit numbers are the years (=Italian style of writing years). The french 65 mm shells were sometimes also fired from the italian mountain guns.

Thanks Alpini
So the first example does not have the 3 digits under a line and single digit ... is it WW1 perhaps? (1918 ?)

Wow sounds slightly risky ... that would eliminate the French case's bottleneck.
