hello to all guys !!
anyone has information about this type of anti-tank mine scatterable, described in the "CMSI / EODWSI SOP For Explosive Ordnance Disposal Operations in Kuwait" ??
I do not think is a version of the "Italian SATM-1".
Greetings to all

Mina VS-SATM-1, 122 mm rocket-deliverable scatterable mines are designed to be delivered by the Firos multiple rocket system (Six mines fit in each rocket warhead) as well as the ground-based mine scattering system Istrice.
The mines have a magnetic influence fuzingwith, a ten-minute arming delay and a programmable life of between one hour and one year in one-hour increments, after which time it can either self-destruct or self-neutralize.
Due to its relatively simple design, the magnetic influence fuze in this mine will have an anti-disturbance capability, were equipped with self-destruct mechanism (adjustable from 0 to 365 days) and hits the target with EFP, which explains their low weight of 2.5 kilograms, with a weight of 800 gram of Compound B explosive.
VS-SATM-1 was almost identical in size to the fragmentation antipersonnel mine bounding VS-SAPFM-3 (weight 2.5 kg, 450 grams of charge "Composition B") and is also equipped with an electronic fuse with a mechanism of self-destruction (0- 365 days), and three tripwire, is thrown out after discarding the lid and body alignment mines in vertical position under the action of the legs are straightened.
May have been used in Iraq.

Thanks Wyngo
but from the VS-SATM image that you see here in the picture (Valsella product presentation at the fair) HM306UP001.jpgHM306UP002.jpgthe body is smooth and the the drawing that I enclose there isn't a parachute; and the internal arrangement of the components is different.image(1).jpg
so what is the VS-SATM ??? and the other model is ???
can be an evolution of the VS-SATM ??
regards

...the VS-SATM1 is the evolution of the VS-SATM...
The SATM is a AT submunition with reverse HEAT principle, magnetic influence fuze; the SATM1 is a natural evolution, with EFP warhead ( more effective in penetration and with great operational stand-off distances) fitted with the improved fuze, with combined seismic-magnetic influence capability.
