Japanese Type 97 Hand Grenade Restoration

Hi all,

Here is a Type 97 Hand Grenade that I've just restored to it's former glory. When I got it it was just the bare steel and no paint so I decided that no harm could be done if I went all the way with a full restoration.

All I need now is the special screw driver that came with them. Does any one have a spare one.

Many thanks everyone for your nice comments. I also posted the restoration job on the Japanese forum at gunboards and with luck have just located a screw driver issued for the Type 97 Hand Grenade. Will post pictures of it when I get it.
