Hi,i found this while diving a wreck we are trying to id in the english channel.
We had two possible names for the wreck, both in collisions ,one was sunk 1900 the other in 1917 ,so the fact its got 1941 on it means either we are well out on our wreck possibles or it just happend to come from a plane or a passing ship and landed on the deck!
Id like to know if it would have been fired by our chaps or Jerry, anti aircraft or from an aircraft!?
Thanks

Its a British 20mm Hispano round , quite possibly fired from a Spitfire ,Hurricane, typhoon etc. K is for Kynoch.
Cheers

Thats excellent, cheers for the quick reply.Pretty good chance it simply fell onto the wreck years after the ship sank!!
Thanks again
