Hello,

I tried to find data about chemical KB-3 bomb, but my data only mentions this bomb and showing SB-3 (explosive) bomb.

Regards,
Redmeer

German, of course :) I know designation sounds more like russian, but this is a Kampstoff Bombe 3kg. Some sources mention this bomb, but no data about this item found :(

This is the only German 3kg bomb I know!

Hello,

I think Redmeer talks about KB3 filled adamsite. As far as I know chemical Kb3 had same shape as HE Sb3, with emission holes.

Indeed. I have this schema from american technical manual, but I can't find any german source data.

Ich habe Bilder von einer angeblichen KB-3 gefunden auf einem Testgelände._MG_8047.jpg_MG_8048.jpg_MG_8049.jpg_MG_8050.jpg_MG_8051.jpg_MG_8052.jpgDrucken_00001.jpgDrucken_00002.jpg Gruss Joerg.

Hello,

Post from Loslau on wk2ammo, I (AZ16 in this forum) replied it could be a Kb3, but without documentation to prove it !

Regards

Actually, case is about exactly same piece of ammo, because my friend (he got no acc here) showed me this steel container and I want to know about it as much as possible :)

But how was the Adamsite expelled from this alleged perforated KB-3 bomb?
E.g. the 15 cm Wgr 41 wKh Bu 2 filled with Adamsite was built in the same way as the regular 15 cm Wgr 41 wKh smoke or chemical rounds, with a HE charge surrounded by the chemical load.
I somehow feel this perforated SB-3 bomb may be a smoke one - exactly the same layout, i.e. standard steel body with a number of holes at one end, was used in the smoke warhead for the R 4/M rocket.
