Just thought I'd share this.
I bought this Kenrick Mills 36 body at the Military Odyssey last year. What is unusual about it is that it has near perfect brown patina, as though it has sat in a cupboard without anyone touching it, dropping it or messing with it. The threads are perfect and all the normal bits fitted perfectly. It must have been lifted from the production line as new and was never filled or painted.
I'm not sure what war it dates from but I've added WW1 spares to it. The gas check is marked WSI & S 10/1918.
A real sleeper as we say in the antiques trade.
