I'm sure someone has posted pictures of one of these but I couldn't find it when I looked. Just a few photos of a knee mortar projectile plus a close up of the fuze. Has anyone any idea what the stamping on the fuze says?
All inert and comes to bits etc.

Dave.

Hi,

That's a very nice round. The fuze symbols signify that it is a type 88 fuze. It is read from the bottom up, with the first symbol translating as type and the "upside down V's" being 8's. I look forward to seeing other Japanese bits. Regards Colin
