Found this while viewing some random pics. Had never seen this one. Nice that it gives a good sense of scale.

The designation for the M83 butterfly container was M29, however the container itself appears pretty much identical.

Where can I get one?? Or possibly I would settle for the smaller M28 container (100lb size) which is a little easier to handle!!!! LOL!!!

Both used the M 15A2 cluster munition adapter, this same cluster adapter was used as a bio weapons dispenser called the E 73 or M 115. This container held 4 M 14 canister particulate bomblets, which were sewn together canvas and other materials, similar to the M 3 canisters shown. It was tested to be a vector (fleas) dispenser but that failed. The last testing used feathers that were coated with an anti crop agent.

hallo. this is my first post here so i
hope this is the rightplace to ask. the large M129 dispenser on top:, the lot says GTR. anybody know what that is? a US company or imported? thank you.

GTR is General Tire and Rubber Company. The U.S. uses 3 letter codes for its government supplier identification.

the M129 seems to be an imrovement over the M15. by the way if you look very closely at Slicks pic i think it says M16 cluster adapter (or maybe i need better glasses).
anyone know when the M129 was put into action?

It does say cluster M16, it also says "without 90 frag bombs 4 Lb. M83".
