1860, General Garibaldi lands with 1000 volunteers in Sicily starting a military campaign known as Spedizione dei Mille which eventually led to the creation of the Kingdom of Italy in 1861 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt32448428/. If you like old uniforms, Italian country side and relaxed un-rushed screen action, watch it. Besides the historic timeline action, there is a side story of 2 deserters which slowly flourishes into a spectacular ending. I liked the movie, and that's where I stand.
