lake found M1915 German Discus Grenade

This M1915 German offensive discus came in the post today. I have bought more than a few of these from the same supplier over the years. As the story goes these were found at the bottom of a lake in Europe sometime in the 1980's. They must have been in very deep water as they came out of the lake in remarkably good condition with a fine patina that is almost beyond words. The price is way right. The left picture shows the one I just got and the right picture shows the same discus grenade next to a baby defensive discus for size comparison. The lake found 1915 discus sells for 99.50 US and ones in a tad lesser condition go for 69.50 US. In my mind that is a true bargain.........Dano

Dano,

I know a couple of people who would be interested in purchasing the smaller variation, if you could get a hold of more. I have 14 German egg grenades coming in the mail 11 of which are in as found condition straight out of the ground. Would love to hear from you.
