Treated myself to these as a late extra Xmas pressie!!!
5 different WWII dated German 20mm rounds & 1 spare projectile. All fully inert some with good markings/stencils.
Info would be appreciatted as I know only a bit about these.
I am sure the 5th one is an MGFF/FFM & the loose proj is for the same.
1st? The 2nd is an APT round, 3rd ?, 4th I think is the wrong proj for the case, it looks like a ball 20mm German Oerlikon one. stampedevz122/44 with a waffenamt stamp no 188 (ZB - 37 MG Brunn?)
Looking for links for these - as well as info.
Cheers

Hi Hicky,
Thats a nice little group of German cannon rounds to add to your collection. There are quite a few threads here already on BOCN covering most of these rounds if you want some more info on them.
Link to a sectioned 2 cm Oerlikon MG FF Minengerschoss thread,

http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/2-cm-oerlikon-t4178.html?t=4178

Thankyou to Blackwatch for the possitive id on the rounds, i will try and find you some more info.
Best regards Weasel.

Hicky or others...

Is it possible to show me a 20mm round from the USA , The Germans, and the British, all from aircraft guns, maybe side to side pictures. I was watching a show on today that talked allot about the 20mm's in each aircraft.
