Picked this up the other day . An American 37mm (1 pdr) little John round . Not to be confused with the British 40mm (2 pdr)

you Can find info on the internet . Here is a picture I downloaded.it was used in 1942 on the 37mm gun M3

Very scarce round, I had a mint one years back, thanks for showing

I believe it was used on the ‘locust’ airborn light tank.

About half way down the page is a picture of a Locust with a Littlejohn adapter fitted.
