Looking for infos about the RAF 45 Gallon fuel tanks used as napalm bombs in WWII

Hi All,

I've seen that Typhoons (and others ?) sometimes carried 45 gallon fuel tanks used as napalm bombs from 1944 to 1945.

I've the resin Napalm bombs from PAVLA in 1/72 scale and I want to build a Typhoon fitted with these special tanks.

I'm looking for infos about these particular fuel tanks used as napalm tanks such as photographs, drawings showing the fuse installation, colour scheme... In a word, everything needed to make a correct replica of a Tiffy equiped with these weapons.

Are these weapons used experimentally or in large scale by the RAF at the period ?

Thanks for the infos,

All the Best,

Typhoon
