M12 Grenade Fuze

Has anyone heard of or seen a M12 U.S. Hand Grenade Fuze? I have an OLD document that looks like it says M12 grenade fuze, but due to age and running of the letters and numbers together might be wrong.

Any ideas if this actual designation exists?

Joe,

The US M12 Fuze was used on the M49 Trip Flare. It was basically a Modified US M10 Series Fuze loaded with a primer for pyrotechnic ignition.
