I want to shear some images of the M133 chem. long delay tail fuze with anti-withdrawal feature, used by the US during WW II and later. The fuze was used in 500lb GP AN-M64 A1 and 500lb SAP AN-M58 A2 bombs. The nominal delay was 15 min (at 85 degree F) , but it could vary from 6min to 80min, dependent on the surrounding temperature. The images show this fuze with the additional safety clip to prevent accidental functioning of the anti-withdrawal feature. It also shows the original side thumb-screw, which was issued during transport and storage of the fuze.
