M1915 French Feuillette rifle grenade

Ran across this French early rodded rifle grenade while rifleing web sites and was not aware of its existance. French M1915 "Feuillette" rodded rifle grenade pictured along with the page on it from Delhomme's WW1 grenade book. Predecessor of the VB I would guess it to be rather rare. No big deal, just had elluded me in the past......Dano

These are hard to find. I bought one minus the rod a while ago, but Delhomme has it covered in the book.

Dano, managed to find one near Morte Homme (Verdun) many years ago. Never found one again so they must indeed be rare.

I thought them to be at least somewhat rare as in all my years of collecting WW1 I had never seen one before nor had I noticed in my Delhomme book!! Dano
