M67 grenade refurb

Well-Known Member
I'm trying to locate a fellow that refurbs grenades.
I lent him an M15 WP years ago to make a mold of
He also made me a set of current M18s for display
Not sure if he's a member here but one of you US members might know
who I'm talking about I think he was located in Ohio or Wisconsin
any help would be appreciated
I have a totally clean m67 I'd like to bring up to spec.
Thanks
ordman

That was probably me. Here's what I used to do with M69 practice grenades. My only problem is that I just can't seem to find the right OD color. The M67's I've seen have a lighter, almost forest green color.
I haven't done these in several years, but let me know if you're interested.

You can't buy the correct ultra-flat paint for am M67 in a bomb can. Only way to get it right is to mix it yourself & know what the propper flattening agent & ratio is. And it's hell on your spray gun. It's actually pretty complicated. I had 2 M67's that I re-painted. Musta' burned over $100.- in paint & 40hrs to get it right, but I did it. And the correct stencilling was a chore to. I wouldn't even consider it again for a one-off project. . .
Also, without the correct cupped/ lipped washer cover, it'll never look right, no matter how good the paint job.
