Does anyone have a M728, 105-MM Cartridge and projectile they can take pictures of? We have good information on these from the old publications, we would just like some real pictures for inclusion into the 60 series pub.

Thanks,

Joe

I think so, I've got 4-5 different models I'll look when I get home.

Sorry, got an M392, M724, M726, M735 and M737, but no M728.

Thanks ... although I have a feeling I might be asking for one of the others you have.

I'll let you know as we kick through this.

Thanks again

Joe

M728 and M392 U.S. APDS Projos/rounds

Photos of the M728 and compared to the UK manufactured M392. The only visible difference from the outside, is that the rubber obturating skirt on the bottom of the M392 is shorter. From the skirt to tip, they appear to be identical. An inert loaded M392 round is shown, which would be the same length as the M728 round. Both projectile types have lot numbers painted on the penetrators.
