Just picked this up, Plastic case, magnets on bottom, Bottom can be removed and has a rectangular space inside.

Any information would be appreciated.

Best source of information I have found on these is the CIA reading room:

All documents are available as downloadable PDF's

This website has a wealth of documents regarding the development of what they termed the Mk 2 Clam, however some of them are quite redacted which is understandable.

The search function on the website is quite useful too, and you get some interesting documents using search words such as feder, clockwork, AC Delay, incendiary and silicone etc. My thanks to EOD who showed me where to look.
