Mauser 7.9mm Rifle Caliibre Cartridge v- Munition

I am interested in Mauser 7.9mm Rifle Calibre Cartridges - as used exclusively by the Luftwaffe and called v-Munition. Can any one tell me if SmK (H) was also used by the Luftwaffe? As it doesn't have the 'v' after it's name I'm wondering if it was used by ground troops as well.

7.9mm ammunition with SmK (H) projectile was only used by ground troops and only in the rifle, not in the machine gun. 7.9mm caliber bullets with tungsten carbide core were only produced until 1941.
