I came across a MD2000 mine detector search head and handle unit I was given, near brand new, quite a high tec end bit of kit. The search head would come with other search probes and a control box they plug into. Been looking for a control box for a while but cant find one, anyone have a spare they don't want or know the where about of one..

Sorry I can't help you with the parts but the detector is a great piece of kit, they were the standard mine detector for New Zealand Engineers during the 90/00's. I spent a few hours waving the unit around

For using it ? It is very sensitive to everything, just what a mine detector should do...., but be prepared to dig it all because it gives it all.
image.jpeg Photo of clearance work Kampuchea/Thai border from a long time ago, prepare to dig.
