A very realistic setting combines long psychedelic segways with a multitude of interpersonal and religious plots. The movie eludes to a very rare and obscure event in modern Japanese history, a 1936 military uprising https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/February_26_Incident. Definitely one of the most unconventional IIWW movies ever made.
Oh, if you decide to watch it, get English subtitles, unless you are fluent in Japanese.

I went to the sale of the props from this movie. I brought some helmets, stretcher bearer straps and water bottles. I’d not seen the movie, so had no interest in the radio in the water bottle. Something I regret not buying, as everything was very cheap. Cheers
