Is anyone going to this event for the 65th Anniversary of D-Day?

It is nor far from Portsmouth.

Horndean was quite a good day in all, I found a few good bits. I was most pleased with an inert 1952 dated 40mm Bofors L/60 round that had been inerted by unscrewing the primer and removing the powder, so the projectile was still nicely crimped in. The proj also still has about 90% of its original paint.

Nice find Falcon, look forward to seeing a picture of it. Shame we did not get a chance to meet up, i had a good look round though and found a few interesting cases. Good to catch up with some other BOCN members there, you know who you are...
