Unless it's just coincidence, TW14A is the drawing number for "Grenade, Hand, Instructional, No.36M MarkI /L/" (aka three-quarter section). Since HT&S only made components (and only levers as far as I'm aware) then maybe they saw fit in some cases to mark up the lever with a drawing number to which they were working. Bonnex will have the facts...
TW6A | Container Red Smoke for Grenade Rifle No 88 |
TW7A | Container Blue Smoke for Grenade Rifle No 88 |
TW8A | Container Yellow Smoke for Grenade Rifle No 88 |
TW9A | Container Green Smoke for Grenade Rifle No 88 |
TW10A | Grenade Rifle Drill & Practice No 85 Mk 1 |
TW15A | Grenade Hand Instructional Anti-Personnel No 70 Mk 3 |
Don't know who PDC were but have seen a 44 dated plug by them.
