Mills - Dummy for Throwing Practice plug

I recently acquired this baseplug which was firmly rusted into the body of a Gibbons practice grenade.

What is unusual about this it that it is the first BRASS 'Dummy for Throwing Pratice' base plug I've seen, all the rest being aluminium, but it also has a central recocking post.

This plug is odd that it is in a Gibbons from 1917 when most of the 'Dummy for Throwing Practice' plugs were from 1915 and 1916.

This post caused the plug to be firmly rusted into the body, so I had to sacrifice the body to get it out.

Attached photos.

Love to hear it anyone had one of these.
