Hi Dave, nice pre sectioned gren as you say. Probably a partial detonation whereby the gren landed in such a way so as to not have had the det covered by the explosive. As the det was not central this sometimes happened. The gren would have been filled with a little over 2oz of explosive which is a little over half of what it could take. However this may not have been the case and the whole lot could have gone off. Either way, a nice addition to any collection.
