Mills No 36 Body marked P

I bought a Mills 36 in France at the weekend and thought when I first saw it that the maker was ROF Patricroft. However I was pretty sure that they didn't make or even fill grenades during WW2 and only did that in the 60's and 70's when the bodies were supplied to them by Qualcast and were marked by them as such.

Any clues who may have made this?
