Matbe someone can help me with this ... I am looking for pictures of the MK 1 MOD 0 RAILROAD FLARE. This is an OLD US Hand flare used for signals. I cannot find a real picture of this, and I don't even have a line drawing. Can someone assist with this? I have attached a picture of a flare that looks very similar, but is not the MK 1 MOD 0.

The picture is from an item on sale on Gun Broker BTW ...

Thanks,

Joe

Joe, are you reffering to a 5 Minute Fusse(Flare) used by the railroad way back when? I believe "MK 1 MOD 0" way the Naval designation of the same flare placed inside the C-1 Survival vest used during WWII? I have one without the handle you show in your borrowed picture if this sounds similar? Before collecting INERT Ordnance, I collected Aviation Survival vest, SEEK, Pan kits and componets in the late 1960's. Let me know?
